Eva Aagaard, MD: Dr. Aagaard was one of 2 faculty inaugurated into the University of Colorado Medical Student GHHS in its founding year, 2009. She has won more than 15 awards for clinical excellence, teaching, and humanism in medicine, including the University of Colorado’s President’s Teaching Award and most recently the Society of General Internal Medicine Mid-Career Mentoring Award. She serves as Assistant Dean for Lifelong Learning, Director of the Academy of Medical Educators, and Vice Chair for Education for the Department of Medicine.
Brittney Anderson, MD: Dr. Anderson serves as the Associate Residency Director for the Denver Health Residency in Emergency Medicine, as well as the Associate Director for Preceptorships for our School of Medicine’s Foundations of Doctoring Curriculum. She has won multiple teaching awards including the National Associate Residency Director in Emergency Medicine of the Year Award in 2011. She is actively involved in professionalism and humanism issues that arise on campus and currently serves on the Faculty Professionalism Committee.
Jessica Campbell, MD MA: Dr Campbell is an academic hospitalist at Denver Health Hospital. She has won numerous teaching awards, including the Gold Humanism Resident Award in 2008. Dr. Campbell’s research on physician burnout has led to innovative curriculum for engaging trainees and faculty in activities that promote professional and humanistic development such as the Rick Albert Prize, the Heart of Medicine and the Do No Harm project. She is also a yoga teacher, nutrition specialist and wellness educator who has lectured extensively on and off campus.
